Terms of Use for the (((etiCORE Specifications

1. With the download of these files, the user receives the non-exclusive, non-transferable, royalty-free right to use the etiCORE specifications.

2. Commercial use by public transport companies and transport associations (PTO / PTA) is only permitted if a FULL (((eTicket or (((eTicket participation agreement with VDV eTicket-Service GmbH & Co. KG has been concluded.

3. Manufacturers may use the specifications for design purposes.

4. Manufacturers may only market products which they create on the basis of these specifications in Germany if they
   a. have been contracted by a PTO / PTA which has already signed a FULL (((eTicket agreement with VDV eTicket Service GmbH & Co. KG and
   b. have signed an (((etiKIT agreement with VDV eTicket Service GmbH & Co. KG.
   
5.The use of the specifications outside the Federal Republic of Germany is not permitted for manufacturers with (((etiKIT-Basic. Manufacturers with (((etiKIT-Professional or -Premium are entitled to the international commercial use of the specification in the field of public transport.

6. No liability shall be accepted for damages arising from the use of the specifications, unless the user proves that an error in the specification was caused intentionally or through gross negligence by VDV eTicket Service GmbH & Co. KG.

7. VDV eTicket Service GmbH & Co. KG accepts no liability for spelling and transmission errors.

8. In the event of ambiguities or several possible interpretations, the user shall notify VDV eTicket Service GmbH & Co. KG regarding the deficiency in his view.
